The condolences of the President of the Republic, Borut Pahor, on the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe

A message of condolence from the Slovenian President:
The Former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, was assassinated today. This leaves me deeply hurt and saddened. Shinzo Abe was very fond of Slovenia, and in favour of further strengthening the multilateral cooperation between our two countries. For that we will remain forever grateful to him. On behalf of the Republic of Slovenia and all its people I would like to extend my deepest sympathy, condolences and solidarity in these difficult hours to his family, the Emperor of Japan and the Japanese people.
