Slovenian President Borut Pahor and European Commission President Juncker on the Future of Europe

The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, today received the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker. The Slovenian President and the President of the European Commission discussed the future of Europe and in this context also the Ljubljana Initiative. President Pahor reiterated his opinion that European policy should devote more attention to the increasingly complex situation in the neighbouring region of the Western Balkans. Mr Pahor and Mr Juncker also touched upon the relations between the United States of America and the Russian Federation.
After the meeting, the Slovenian President and the President of the European Commission gave brief statements to the press.
