BUSH THANKS KUCAN

The President of the Republic, Milan Kucan, received a letter from George W. Bush with which the US President thanked Slovenia and President Kucan personally for all the assistance and support following the September 11 attacks on the United States.

The common values and the resolve of our nations are crucial to the erradication of terrorism throughout the world, writes President Bush, adding that whate we are facing is a formidable challenge. "The struggle may be long one, but we also draw strength and reslove from solidarity and support," also writes President Bush, thanking Slovenia for its willingness to participate in this effort to the best of its ability.
