PRESIDENT KUCAN RECEIVES CROATIAN PRIME MINISTER MATESA

The president of the Republic, Mr. Milan Kucan, today received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Zlatko Matesa, who informed the
President of the content of the talks held during his first official visit to Slovenia.

A mutual interest in good relations was stressed in the course of the talks. The signing of an agreement settling property relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia should represent an expression of good will on both sides, endeavouring towards a rapid resolution of other outstanding issues between the two states.
