The President of the Republic comments on the development of the Slovenian Armed Forces

The President of the Republic of Slovenia and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, Dr Danilo Türk, today visited the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces. In his statement to the press, the President expressed his satisfaction with the dynamic development of the Slovenian Armed Forces. The President assessed that the Slovenian Armed Forces are progressing in the right direction and carrying out their tasks and obligations responsibly. The President emphasised that any questions arising in the course of development should be discussed comprehensively and responsibly. “My work in future will be closely connected with the development of the Slovenian Armed Forces,” said the President and expressed his wish that the further development should be achieved as soon as possible and as fully as possible.
