 | President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, opened the U20 European Championship Men basketball, Division A. In his opening speech, the President emphasised that Slovenia is a hospitable country and a country of basketball.
The President expressed his wish that all the competitors would leave the competition with pleasant memories. He wished them many good games and results, and above all, many fond memories of Slovenia.
The President also noted that the U20 European Championship is a continuation of the preparations for EuroBasket 2013, which will take place in Slovenia. |
